Cream, based out of the Nation nightclub in Liverpool, is one of the best-known dance clubs in the UK. Cream has played host to many international DJ superstars, including Paul Oakenfold (who was resident DJ from 1997 to 1999), Paul van Dyk, and Sasha. Local DJ Yousef was resident in the Annexe room from 1999 until the club's weekly events came to an end in August 2002. He built up a massive reputation within the British underground House music scene, establishing his own nightclub called Circus (in September of 2002) after the demise of Cream.
Since its launch in October 1992, Cream has revolutionised the clubbing experience. Over the last decade, what started as a club in Liverpool has gone on to become a global youth brand, diversifying to Europe, Asia and South America. With contributions from Fatboy Slim, Paul Oakenfold, Pete Tong, Kylie Minogue and a cast of thousands, Cream tells the extraordinary story of how a group of northern promoters and dreamers pursued their vision to create, quite simply, the best club brand in the world
